Looking for a gunsmith to thread and chamber CF barrel

I'm looking for a solid gunsmith to thread and barrel a carbon fiber barrel blank for my Remington 700 (300 win mag). I've been recommended Pac-Nor, though they don't work with carbon fiber barrels.

My goal is to lighten up the platform which is primarily used for long range hunting. I won't be putting a lot of rounds through the rifle so I'm prioritizing weight over recoil and temp.

I live in the Bay Area but can ship anywhere. Ideally I'd like to find a smith that can work with me on this project as well as future precision projects.Thanks y'all!

You ordered a blank without having a smith in mind? Or is this a future project?

You can contact Anthony Pettiti at 510-538-1288 (San Lorenzo) and ask him (I don't know if he has worked or will work with CF barrels.) Don't expect a quick turnaround with him though (can be hit and miss depending on his workload - I've had a barrel take over 6 months; a friend had a complete rifle built in 2.) He may know others nearby who can do the work if he can't/won't.

AR15Barrels can probably do it if you can drive to SoCal.
