Help with a VZ58 build!!!

I'm just starting to build my VZ58 kit, and I'm having a problem removing the lower handguard. The top was no problem. I also removed the gas piston, spring, and drilled out the barrel pin. I just can't see any way to remove the lower handguard. I don't see a pin or a lever, and I've tried to "muscle it" a bit, but nothing works. Help!
