I thought it was just triggers, but today I learned it was more. Would you be interested in Nighthawk parts as a drop in? Why or why not?

Thoughts on Nighthawk "drop in" parts

In order for parts to drop into any gun and work, they have to be made loose enough of a fit to fit into the tightest frame.
That means that they are too loose in most frames.
This is how USGI parts are made by the way.
You might as well just use a bunch of old USGI parts as they will drop-in to almost any frame as well.
You won't get the best trigger possible when you have lots of extra slop built into the parts so that they can "drop-in" and function.
The best trigger comes from everything being hand fitted and tuned to your specific frame and other parts.
That's why many parts are purposely made oversized and require fitting.Randall Rausch
