Ruger SP101 Dovetail sight

I have a 4" SP101 which unlike the shorter ones with pinned sights, has a dovetail sight.
I want to replace it with a tritium night sight, but Ruger only sells replacements for the pinned sights and I can't find the dovetail version anywhere.

Even sights that are advertised as the right ones are shaped completely differently than what is on the actual gun and appear they would need to be ground down substantially by a machinist.

Has anyone done this replacement or know of a place to get these sights? thanks in advance

According to this thread, SR9 sights fit that dovetail and just need to be filed to the correct width so they don't overhang the barrel

Note that the standard SP101 4.2" use this large Ruger dovetail. But SP101 Talo editions use a Novak cut.

So when you look at SP101 front sights, there are three types: Pinned, Ruger dovetail, and Novak dovetail. Be sure you know which your gun takes. If it takes that larger Ruger dovetail, then a sight made for the SR9 front sight should fit with just a little work.
