    AR shells eject foward

MY PSA AR15 ejects the spent shells to about 1:30-2:00. I always thought ejection should be 3:00-4:00. Is this a problem and if it is, can it be adjusted on my A2 front site/gas block.???

Its mostly a problem in picking up my used brass for reloading. Thanks

You can increase the buffer weight while will slow the cycling of the action.
That should soften how the gun shoots and make the cases eject more to the rear.

You are saying replace the buffer spring....right??? What should I look for in a proper weight or strength.

Spring does not matter much unless your existing spring is worn out or you are using the wrong type.
Pull it out and check the free length and compare to the specs of a new spring.

The buffer WEIGHT is a much larger factor in how the action cycles.

From some other thread on spring lengths, I paste you this:
10.5"(ish), free length carbine spring for a telescoping butt stock receiver extension with carbine length buffer.
The carbine spring has 37 to 39 coils.

11.75'"(ish), Free length spring for a fixed length stock receiver extension and full length buffer.
The rifle spring has 41 to 43 coils

Is your rifle unreliable? If not I would not worry and just shoot it. If you want to try an H2 buffer give it a whirl.

Rifle is very reliable. I might just live with it. Thanks
