    Mossberg 930 Problems

I have a mossberg 930 SXT. Took it to the range today and the weapon would not feed. I would chamber a round the weapon would discharge and eject the empty case. But would not feed another round. Also while shooting one sometimes two rounds would fall out from the tube area. I did install a Mesa tactical side saddle which the folks a Mossberg said is the problem. Supposedly the screws that replace the receiver pins do not allow for ample gas through to operate the weapon. Does anyone have any input?? has anyone ever had this problem. Please advise
    Thanks

Remove the side saddle and see if it runs OK with the original hardware.

I don't know much about the 930, but there's a lot of info on it over at www.shotgunworld.com, so a search there may help.

side saddle was removed and weapon functioned flawlessly. Be carefulwhen you installaside saddleto your 930. I have ordered another set of screws frommesa tactical. we will see how this goes.I do lkike the idea of a side saddle but NOT at the expense of a faulty weapon

It's not uncommon for sidesaddles to pinch the receiver when they bolt through one of the original pin holes.
One solution to this is a 3gungear sidesaddle that velcros to the side of the receiver.
