Make sure the trigger spring is installed correctly

and be sure that it has not slipped to the side like this
Ok, I have a question for you guys! I have new G19 Gen 4 and the trigger I am not happy with the serrated trigger shoe. So, I ordered the OEM Glock 17 trigger and trigger bar for the Gen 4. Since I had the Glock apart I also decided to do the .25 cent trigger job. After I reassembled the Glock...
It needs to be like this
Also make sure the striker channel is clean, dry, and the striker spring is not broken.
Start with those and get back to us if that does not resolve itLast edited by SkyHawk; 03-11-2021, 8:07 PM. -
Good post but trigger issue took some pics of slide and maybe issue or maybe weak striker spring?Last edited by cpl_dan; 03-11-2021, 9:27 PM.ehhhComment

It happened to me. I started resetting manually - use finger tip to push forward.
Swapped on spring - back in businessRule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Here are some additional pictures:
1. 100% engagement , pulling trigger
2. After pulling, trigger does not reset after letting go.Last edited by cpl_dan; 03-14-2021, 5:35 PM.ehhhComment

Can you take the slide off and post a picture looking at the trigger group?Comment

Your leaving out alot of information. Like probably the fact that you have had the slide and or lowr apart. What did you do, what did you replace, what did you reassemble incorrectly?Comment

The trigger on a glock does not "reset" until after the slide cycles.
A glock does NOT have a "repeat strike" capability like an actual double action firearm.
So do as follows:
Pull trigger.
Cycle slide.
Pull trigger.
Does it fire the 2nd time or not?Randall Rausch
