    Ruger Gunsite bolt issues

My favorite long gun Ruger Gunsite. Something happened to the bolt. Very hard to open even on the empty chamber. I took firing pin out and all looks normal. Going in to the bolt further seems a bit complicated. I really don't want to send it to Ruger especially now.
Did anyone experience similar issues before?

    Never heard of that before.
The solution is to detail strip the bolt.
The problem is usually readily visible once you have it apart.

Look for galling on the bolt lugs from lack of lubrication.
This is especially troublesome on stainless guns.

Quick update. Randall fixed it. It was an operator error. Chunk of blown primer was causing an issue. Close to 400 rounds after and smooth as butter. Thanks again Randall!
