    Brush question

I recently bought a GP100 Match Champion, stainless. I have fired it a couple of times and a carbon ring is on the cylinder. I tried nylon with CLP, but it has not removed it. I hesitate to try a copper brush before asking here. I do not want to mess the surface up.

Brass or copper is softer than your SS gun.
Use a little solvent and just don't go berserk on scrubbing.

Birchwood Casey Lead Remover Polishing Cloth or Mothers mag or Simichrome polish (don't work it too hard).

are you talking about the ring that too many 38's will cause inside the cylinders over time or the black marks on the face of it... actually it don't matter all that much because my solution for both are the same - Chore Boy.

Don't touch it until they can prove it's won a match.

Match Champion my fuzzy pink butt.

What happens if more than one enters a match and none of them win?

Pretty much what he said. Lots of us use the lead remover cloth. It won't hurt anything to leave the discoloration there.
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?

Use CLR. It eats carbon without trouble. Just be sure to completely remove it from the gun with alcohol
