    Full time gunsmith

Would you recommend any good full-time gunsmith in OC? Some good one that I used in the past closed business and some of them just so slow (threading a barrel took them 4 weeks). Thanks.

You need to go to the van Nuys. Setup a.appt with Randall and he will thread a barrel while you wait.

Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Some of those OC guys don't like to drive very far.
They are usually looking for someone between edinger, warner, brookhurst and euclid.
Anything not within that square is too far to drive...

I use Applied Kinetics in Fullerton for gunsmithing. However like all other gun related businesses they are backed up. Just dropped off something that used to take 2 weeks and they quoted me 3-4 weeks. Patience is a virtue.

What is the turnaround time frame for 2-day shipping the rifle to you, Randy? Round trip shipping is on me.

LA traffic is the killer. Driving to Van Nuys is a day off work. My wife is working at Mission/Balboa and it daily takes her 2-3 hours one way departing at 10am. If you don't mind drive down to OC I will pay you $100 extra, and that's in writing, not just talk, Randy.

It's not a bad drive, if you can avoid the worst of rush hour. He will give you a set time, and you get to watch him work. I learned a lot, and I drove from OC>

Send it with your wife in the morning and she can pick it up in the evening on her way back home.
