    new build help

I was fine tuning the top rails to get the bolt/bolt carrier to go into battery, after filing and many fitting it finally slid into battery. the problem now is it won't unlock. The bolt carrier slides back 3/4" and then stops dead, I have tried wiggling, tilting, jiggling etc. but still stops 3/4" from battery. Is there a trick to get this to completely come out of battery?.

The bolt head seems to rotate the right amount but it gets stuck . Any help is appreciated.

I'd say try and shock it a little. Just like a stuck case. If you've got a rubber mallet or similar non destructive persuader, give it a couple smacks on the charging handle. Don't beat the crap out of it, just a love tap or two. If you haven't got a suitable tool try this. Hold rearward pressure on the charging handle and give the butt end a good bump on your work bench. Should pop it loose......unless something is very wrong.

Could this be caused by grossly mismatched headspacing?

          got it loose

after fiddling with it for a while I, gave it a few good smacks with a small wooden block, after a few hits it came loose, then blew it out with air and it now seems ok, maybe some of the shavings from filing jammed it?. But it seems ok now, thanks guys.
