Not close at all. Waiting to see how the used one I have an eye on is priced at and what it comes with. I do know it has a power feed attached.Last edited by BigBronco; 07-23-2020, 2:32 PM."Life is a long song" Jethro TullComment

The size of the machine is not so much related to how big the parts are.
The size of the machine is related to how good the finish will come out.
A little machine like you are looking at can do OK once CNC converted but will be painfully slow if used manually to finish out those parts.
You will have to make very small cuts in steel to get a good finish.
Bigger machines let you make heavier cuts and still get a good finish.Randall Rausch

I had a HF Seig X2 for a while. It was fine for plastic, OK for alunimium, but inadequate for steel. I ended up buying a barely used Frejoth Tiawanese BP Series 1 clone at an estate sale for $400. Best 400 bucks I ever spent. Night and day compared to the smaller mill. You will be amazed how much a small machine will flex under load. If you absolutely don't have the room, I would go for the largest machine you can fit, with a square colum, and some kind of Z axis. Like a Precision Matthews PM25-MV. If you are going to sell the parts, I do not think you will get customer satifactory results with an X2 sized mill.
The Frejoth mill I have, yea, it takes up some room.
A PM-25. Not huge, but bigger. Still going to have to take small cuts on steel.
