Hello all, I've recently acquired an antique revolver and I hope this forum is the correct place for this. I want to store in a display case with a glass lid so I can show it without people getting fingerprints on a 130 year old finish.
My main question is about retaining the gun and a few accessories. I've found a display case that suits my needs and it comes with foam insert that can be trimmed, but I've heard foam holds moisture and is detremental for the finish. Any truth to that? Should I avoid the foam for another method? And if so is there anything to keep it decently nestled so it won't bounce around inside?
Thank you.
