Changing muzzle brakes

Looks like that is for 5.56 only. I also need to swap the brakes on a .308 and a 6.5creedIf you have a vice or something to clamp down, I would recommend just buying the tools yourself. You'd be in it the same cost as paying someone to do it. I recommend a tool similar to the Geissele reaction rod... like this:
and one of these TruGlo wrenches:

As long as it is not Pinned or welded, you can do it yourself. Heck even then you could do it yourself.
All you really need, depending on the brake itself is either a wrench or screw driver. A vice block is great but you can get by without by using the old towel trick, Someone had shared a video here. You will most likely need to buy a few crush washers as well. more than one in case you mess up you have to start over with a fresh one.
Pretty simple procedure. I would say difficulty level 1 on a 1-5 scale.
You can also take your upper to a gun shop and have them do it, if they are trying to charge you $80, that seems a bit excessive. I had to take my barrel to a gun shop once to have the gas block pinned as I could not get it to stay in place and When I started to try and make my own dimples the bit would walk even with an indent, I did not have a great drill. So instead of scaring up and fking up my $300 barrel I just had a pro pin it for me. They charged me something like $25 or $30 and it is much more involved than screwing on a brake. Maybe post some pictures of your rifle and some close up of the existing brake and the new one and the guys here can give you some pointers on what you need to do for what you have.https://thedeplorablepatriot.com/
