    Problem ejecting spent shells...

I have an issue with my 870 ejecting spent shells (sometimes) I have tried many different shell maufactures from bird shot to 00 buck. Every once in a while I will get a spent shell that I actually have to rest the butt against my leg and pull will all my might to get it to eject. So far my thinking is the base of the shell is expanding and wedging itself into the chamber. there is no consistency, it is very itermittent. This is the 870 that I chopped the barrel on if anyone is wondering, but I have had this issue from pretty much day one that I ever took it out factory new. I was thinking of honing the cylinder a bit, or somehow polishing it out a bit. Any input would be helpful. Thanks

Got to SHOTGUNWORLD.COM and look in the Remington sub forum. You will find a lot of people have this same issue but generally with the cheaper bulk pack target loads. You will also find a couple stickies in the sub forum on how to remedy the problem. Hope this helps. Also, there is a shotgun sub forum right here on Calguns where this same thing has been discussed. Check it on out.
