    Boredom had set in

I'm new to all of this and since the parts will all be arriving soon I figure to build myself a basic wannabe gunsmithing workbench. I live in a small studio so portability is key. I'm pretty happy with it. Just figuring out mag mounts for my AR and 9. [emoji3577]

Nice job! That would make a sweet moveable reloading bench.

Thank u guys. I decided i will take and cut 2 more 4-5 inch planks in between my vice and where the rubber mat starts. The plan is have inter-changing planks for the caliber I'm working on. That and ammo storage. Peace!

          very cool....great job

i use a thick piece of scrap leather in between the jaws of the vise. been able to do a lot of stuff that way without scratching anything.

might consider keeping ammo below or at least further away from the working surface.

@mten. thanks for the tip. I did order non jarring covers for them. One of the few items still coming.

Is the top multiple planks or one solid piece?

Thank you. I enjoy this site a lot. I've learned a lot already. Just sharing to some that might be newer than me. Happy Easter

Nice job! If you have the option, adding a way to secure the bench would be good. Could be a support structure that it bolts to on the wall or floor, but the bench can easily be disconnected for portability.

                          Do those wheels lock?

Wouldn't want my work rolling around on me, but otherwise, it looks great!

Yup it locks. All 4 of them.

Now add one of these (for worklight, dremel etc.)

and one of these and you're all set!
