    Duty Carry Poly80 Glock

    Hi guys,
I am curious if anyone made a Polymer80 Glock for their duty carry weapon. I am curious if it will fit in specialty holsters like a Blackhawk SERPA or certain Safariland dual retention holsters. Please let me know. Thanks a bunch and stay safe.

    LOL.

I'm quite sure that NO law enforcement organization is going to allow a self-made firearm to be used for on or off duty carry.

I have never seen a law enforcement agency that would allow a non dros run gun on a Ccw. As for work in a department? I'm pretty sure you would be the laughing stock of the department. It would be worse than asking on here. As for security work mall cops should be regulated better but, I have see a bunch of meth heads working in private security. Anything is possible in private security.

Yeah, no department would allow it. As for being a laughing stock, it’s a shame but true. The ignorance in people. I carry the P80SC I built last year. Only pistol I carry now. It’s actually nicer than the Glocks I’ve owned. The P80 frame is more reinforced. And the polymer feels nicer...more like Delrin. It’s tougher than a Glock frame. The slide is US made from 416R steel, precisely machined and has the same Ferritic Nitrocarburizing treatment that Glock uses. I’m using a stock Glock barrel, but the rest of the internals are from Shadow Systems....stock replacements, but no MIM(like Glock uses). It wasn’t any cheaper than getting a 3rd Gen Glock though. Just more satisfying(to me).

So, my P80sc is tougher, feels better, shoots better, has better parts installed. Oh, and it looks WAY nicer than a G26. But certain people will laugh because it’s not a Glock. All because ignorance is a difficult human condition.

One more thing...I didn’t have to ASK the government if I could have it.

                    Yeah......but no

As previously mentioned no dept/agency would sign off on that one that I know of. If however your question is does anyone make a polymer 80 that will fit the standard Glock holsters. Not most but I did read of one the other day that was advertising being able to fit standard G17 & 19 holsters but I don't have the link sorry. If I come across it again I will post it up here.
