    Problem solved

    I have an AR and am having trouble with the take down pin AND the mag release.Anybody willing to help me out in person,I'll come to to you of course. I've tried you tube but it aint workin' UPDATER:I got the old mag release back on,i had been using the wrong spring.

                          OP, it would be cool if you could post what exactly the problem you were having and then describe how you went about fixing your problem. Photos would be nice too.
