Buy a 0- 10 pound lab scale and have something that will be far more reliable than electronics that eventually fail.
I have a scale that is accurate to 2 oz. over 10 pounds.

Before the days if online instant ordering, I used a wire coat hanger and empty jug.
Make a double hook from the coat hanger with the jug hanging from the bottom. Hang the coat hanger from the trigger, put the buttstock on the edge of a table with the jug hanging over the edge. Just add water until the trigger trips, weigh the assembly afterwards. Repeat for consistently.

A pint of water is actually 1.0425 pounds at 70 degrees F though.

You don't mind an almost 5% inaccuracy?
              Why even bother calibrating?
