Just scored a great AK-74 kit on theakfiles dot com. From the owners description: "All matching very early imported kit with soviet black furniture and soviet grip. Kit is like brand new without a single scratch on the bolt..Lower showes soviet proofs..This is an ae kit for you die hard collectors. Price is 470.00 shipped."

I do have one question though: how are you going to feed it?

Q: Who has a lot of 5.45 available for cheap now?
I see that rguns.net still has a decent price on 5.45 surplus, but is that ammo even around or is it just backordered to hell?

timing

Timing my friend, timing... I've got a few crates (2 spam cans in crate) when they still were around $250.... SHIPPED.. This is not my first 74. I've got one folder and one plum stocked already. This one will be built on a flat with matching SN (too bad NDS doesn't do custom SN no more, I like their receivers) and replicating Russian AK-74. So look for Russian black stock set on GB soon. I want WOOD on mine.
