    Teflon Dry Lube

Does the Multi-Purpose Teflon Dry Lube offer rust protection as well?

Also, does it displace water like WD-40?

If you are looking for water displacement and rust protection, try Boing's Boeshield T-9.

Well water disp and rust pro is really just secondary priorities...primary is taht it's a dry lube. I use it on my motorcycle chain and was wondering if it would work well in firearm areas that arent exposed to high heat. Thinking about using it for the lower parts of the AR. Grease can attract dirt more and reg lube will move easier. Seems like dry lube like the teflon stuff would work well.

I was wondering about this as well.
I have a can of this stuff from years ago, where we used to use it on the chain drive for an industrial oven. I also used it on my dirt bike chain where it worked great.
So has anyone tried it in a firearm?

Boeshield T-9 dries to a non-sticky film and offers much longer protection than Dry Lube. The advantage of Dry lube is that it offers less friction, but is not that durable.
