    AR muzzle brake thread question

Silly question-I want to change the muzzle brake on my AR upper, does it have left of right hand threads, it’s super tight.

Right hand. 1st, make sure it is not pinned. If it will not budge, add a little heat.

This - if the Brake was installed with Loctite, heat will loose the bond. If Rocksett was used, it is supposed to be water-soluble, not heat.

If I may ask, is there any kind of counter-force on the barrel needed?

In other words, let a gunsmith do it. Got it.
