                  I'm guessing if they are a certified Glock armorer they can bill Glock for the work. It's not free, the owner just didn't get charged.

                      That's not how it works unless the gun is under warrantee.
                      In that case, the gun has to go an authorized warranty center.
                      Glock does not have any authorized service centers in the USA outside of it's Georgia location.
