    Walking trigger housing pin

Any fix for a walking trigger housing pin in a polymer frame? It starts walking after a single mag.

What gun we talking about? Is it a slip or press fit pin? For instance, my Ruger 22-45 uses slip fit pins with a groove in them that the tail of a spring fits into, locking it in place.

You can dimple the pin. If you drilled the frame yourself you may have created a not perfect round hole. Can always run with it so its to tired to walk.

Oem or 80%. Aftermarket parts or factory parts? Are the parts installed correctly?

The slide stop is what holds the pin in on a Glock. If its walkingout, its either installed incorrectly, or you have crappy aftermarket parts that arnt working as designed.

Slide stop does not retain trigger housing pin, it retains the trigger pin.

The trigger housing pin is interference fit. It is possible that someone accidentally put the locking block pin into the trigger housing hole at some point, which enlarged the hole.

Try an extended pin from a Gen 4 backstrap kit, and you can cut it to fit so it is exactly flush. It will be a little longer than the pin you have and thus have more contact/friction area. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Glock-7416-...4/263676418110

You can also try coating the pin with clear finger nail polish a few times, let it dry then insert it. Worse case, peen/slightly flatten one end of the pin and make sure that end always goes in last/comes out first.

Are they the right size for a glock trigger housing?

Tried the nailpolish mod on my Glocks with the same issue. Worked great. Have never had a pin walk out again.
