Recommendations for mag capacity limiting modifications?

Are there any California legal kits for DIY modification of large capacity magazines?

We're oving back to Cali after 8 years in PA, so I'm getting all my ducks in a row before we cross the state line.

Gunsmiths in my area are swamped with orders from New Jersey. And the mods arent cheap either.

LCMs are for Beretta 92s and CZ 75BD PCR.

    Thanks for any help!

10 round magazine limiters for most rifle and pistol magazines. The original Magblock limiter for Magpul PMags and USGI magazines converts 20 and 30 round magazines to hold only 10 rounds. Useful where regulations and hunting laws limit capacity to 10 rounds.

Might even be cheaper to just purchase 10 round magazines.

During SSE a LGS was sending mags out to be blocked for $15 IIRC. The block was a piece of 1/4" dowel cut with a pair of dikes that was ziptied to the the mag spring and the base pad was riveted.

          Definitely an option.

This is part of what I'm trying to figure out. I have about 15 mags that need to be modified.

The mags that need modificaton are for
          CZ75 BD pcr 9mm
          CZ 82 in 9mmMak
          Beretta 92s. 9mm

The Beretta Mags were the cheapest to acquire-- plentiful at every gun show in my area for about 10-15.

But the cz mags all go for $35-50 depending on manufacturer

The rivet just goes through the hole in the base plate?

I like these Mec-Gar 10 rd mags better than the CZ 10 rounders. And much cheaper.

Edit: Sorry, these are full size.

Right, it has to be drilled out to get the Mag apart.

Here's an option for pre-converted mags but they're pricey, your best option might be to convert them yourself. Wooden/plastic/polymer/steel rod cut to the right length, then epoxied/glued/welded/drilled/riveted to the baseplate. Or just buy one, see how they did it, and modify as appropriate.
