    Springfield Mil-Spec Compatible BTGS.

Can anyone tell me which BTGS is most compatible with a stainless Springfield Mil-Spec.

My main concern is where they mate.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

The beavertail grip safety needs to be fitted to a milspec. The drop in ones arent very comfortable. They have jigs you can use to help.....the tangs on the frame of the Springfields are shorter than other brands and you need the .220" radius beavertails to fit without a gap. It needs fitting to where it engages the trigger bow. Then the spur hammer will need to he bobbed so it wont hit the beavertail.

I know it needs to be fitted, and I know the radius. My concern is which BTGS will work. I've done one old (1990 era) Mil-Spec with an EGW BTGS, and it worked well. Current one is newer and stainless, trying to find out if they've changed any since 1990.

Sailor man, do you have any pics of your after the BTGS was fitted?

        Thanks for the help.
