    Help with lower build?

I am building a lower using a Rock River receiver. I am using parts that came from a Pac West lower. I can't get the safety selector to fit. It hangs up on the rear of the trigger assembly. The top the rear trigger assembly is just barely to high for the safety selector to fit. Any ideas? Thanks.

Is the hammer down when you try to fit the selector?

if the trigger is already installed, make sure you insert the safety selector with the arrow pointed on fire. hope this helps.

this is the key. The hammer needs to be cocked back for the safety selector to fit.

I ran into the same problem when i installed my RRA 2-stage. Put in safety first, then slide in the trigger below it.

The floor of the receiver well is too high. Either mill it out, or like the others said, install the selector first and slip the trigger under it. Spec is 1.249" deep.
