REMINGTON 1100 problem.

firstoff my shotty is the remington 1100 tactical.
every once in awhile maybe 1 of 100 shells will do this.
the bolt is in the foward closed (chambered) position, then a shell from the mag will release itslef under the bolt. happened first time i ever loaded it.
in this situation i have to compleatly break down the shotgun and somehow dislodge the shell from under the bold cause it wedges itself in.

anyone had this problem??

It probably does not like to be disrespected by being called a shotty... Other than that i have no idea.

check the shell latch on the SHOTGUN. Its the metal bar that sits in a grove inside the receiver that holds the shells in the magazine

It is staked into place and if it moves around it could do what you describe.

I asked my gunsmith and he said it sounds like a problem with the shell interrupter that's located on the opposite side of the shell latch. If its loose it can let a shell out of the magazine in the manner you described.
