1911 rail width vs linear cutter size

Planning on using the matrix precision rail cutter for a 2011 build, I have measured my slide rails at .117", is it recommended to use a .117 rail cutting set or is it recommended to go over oversized cutter; to .118 or.119 before mating the slide to frame and fitting/lapping?

Cut to exact size.
Then lap.
If you cut oversized and your cuts are actually straight, you will not have anything to lap as the parts will simply slide together with as much slop as you chose to cut.

Thank you, I'm going for the tightest fit possible. Somewhat related question, if I needed something bead blasted and or cerakoted, do you offer those services?

The project so far, frame was provided by L10 machine the guy was nice enough to throw in an extra 1" of dust cover I plan on welding for the full 6" look:

I do sandblasting, glass bead blasting and parkerizing.
I do not do any paint work yet though.

That's good to know the last 1" of the full dust cover is going to need the Finish to match the frame and probably the slide while I'm at it.
