    Bolt Modification Needed.

    Hope some can ring in here.

    I have two projects going that I need some bolt modifications done.

    1st is changing the bolt handle on an XP-100. I have a new standard 700 bolt handle, but have not found a gun smith (that I trust) tig weld the new bolt handle on.

    2nd, I am converting a standard Mod 70 action (currently 243) to a 6.5 PRC. The bolt face needs to be opened up to accept a Magnum case.

    Anyone know of a smith they can recommend, I am in Southern Peoples Republic of California.

      Randall, calguns handle, AR15 barrels.

      He did the bolt handle, and more, on my 700. I got to watch him do it.

      I recommend him without reservation.
