    Bolt Modification Needed.

    Hope someone can ring in here.

    I have two projects going that I need some bolt modifications done.

    1st is changing the bolt handle on an XP-100. I have a new standard 700 bolt handle, but have not found a gun smith (that I trust) that can tig weld the new bolt handle on.

    2nd, I am converting a standard Mod 70 action (currently 243) to a 6.5 PRC. The bolt face needs to be opened up to accept a Magnum case and Magnum Extractor installed.

    Anyone know of a smith they can recommend, I am in Southern Peoples Republic of California.

      Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
