    SS80 Glock 43 Trigger reset

Anyone have any experience with their G43 not fully resetting the trigger once the slide is racked? My out of state friend just finished a SS80 build and it won't reset the trigger on the first racking of the slide. After racking the slide the second time it will partially reset the trigger, but is hanging on the trigger safety. His OEM G43 only needs to pull the slide back partially and the trigger fully resets. He's taken it apart several times and compared the SS80 to OEM and He's just not getting it. Any help would be greatly appreciated and anything off topic will not be appreciated.

Thinking about moving out of state so I to can enjoy his frustration.

I had that problem with a full size p80, try swapping out the trigger connector?

I experienced that problem on a factory Glock 43. Not sure what it was. No longer have it.

You may want to consider taking this post down.

With the enactment of AB-857 the SS80 or any 80% polymer lowers are no longer legal as I don't believe they contain the required 3.7oz of metal embedded in the frame.

        29180.B3

If the firearm is manufactured or assembled from polymer plastic, 3.7 ounces of material type 17-4 PH stainless steel shall be embedded within the plastic upon fabrication or construction with the unique serial number engraved or otherwise permanently affixed in a manner that meets or exceeds the requirements imposed on licensed importers and licensed manufacturers of firearms pursuant to subsection (i) of Section 923 of Title 18 of the United States Code and regulations issued pursuant thereto.

He may have built it out of state...? Some of us have more than one home and just come here because of the wealth of knowledge that resides in the halls of Calgunners brains!

EDIT; If OP built it here in Cali and wants to challenge this gross over reach by the California legislature let him! It definitely would not stand in the highest court of the land. We need to stop hiding while our Constitutional rights are destroyed here in California. WE ARE NOT SECOND CLASS CITIZENS!
