JPE 1911 frame question

Does anyone have experience on JPE Pomona.CA 1911 frame? My friend has 2 of it, and I am thinking about a full custom next year if this is a good quality frame.

any thought?

Jay's Pacific Enterprises was an importer in the early 1990's.

Besides 1911's, they also imported a bunch of Mak90's and SKS type rifles.

thanks for the info. I also did a few google search, and the result indicated those 1911 frames were imported from Philippines, same factory as armscor.
