Frame Modification (Trigger Guard Undercut)

Hey guys so i uploaded a new video, thought some of you might be interested in it, whether you have a Polymer frame pistol, or have ever been curious as to how it is done by most companies. this video demonstrates the process that i use to undercut the trigger guard on a polymer framed pistol. now you can do this in a number of different ways but this is just how i like to do it. i hope you guys like the video, and if you haven't already done so subscribe to the channel as it would really help me out and keep you guys up to date on all the new videos released. Thanks Brother. Actually yes there is a way to get a shinier finish, using a felt Bob or loose muslin wheel with some polishing compound will make it shine very nice and make the appearance look glossy.

One thing that you may want to mention is to be sure to keep track of the remaining frame thickness as you remove material.
Last week I saw a Glock with a hole in the frame because someone had gone too deep.

Yup, pretty important.

Also, I am surprised that the front strap texturing was basically destroyed. I think I would have either expected for you to mention right away that this method would require stippling after, or that you would show how this is done while protecting the front strap (basically being a lot more careful with the front strap).

You are right I will keep that in mind I might do a new video down the line I want to do a complete overhaul on my Block 19 and go all out with it.

You are correct the undercut can be done neatly without affecting the original factory texturing on the front strap. I did not care much as I was going to topple the frame anyways.
