Does anyone have a 7.62x39 reamer made to CIP specs that I can borrow? I have a bolt gun that won't quite close on a CIP GO guage, though it will chamber some dummy reloads I have made.

7.62x39 CIP reamer

That’s usually fine. The AK 47 has a spec on how much force is required to close the bolt on a go gage. So being slightly tight on a cup go is no big deal. Most import ammo is grossly undersized and will fit with no issue.
You’re likely to do more damage trying to ream it.

One of the little Zastava made M85 Mini Mausers. Made in Europe, so the chamber should be CIP.That’s usually fine. The AK 47 has a spec on how much force is required to close the bolt on a go gage. The gun came without a bolt, so I located a bolt with a .223 Rem bolt face and opened it up.Comment

If you opened up the bolt face, why not take a facing cut on the bolt face to set your headspace? If the bolt is just shy of closing you could take a .002”-.003” cut and be good. No need for a reamer, and not to big a cut to screw anything up.Comment
