Trijicon HD 1911 Front Sight Replacement

So I picked a set of the Trijicon HD 1911 Novak sights for my Sig XO. My XO has just contrast sights.

The XO has a roll pin on the top of the front sight which I was able to punch out. The problem I have is that the Trijicon front sight doesn't have roll pin on the top of the sight like the original XO. There is a small hole on the Trijicon front sight on the bottom which doesn't line up with the roll pin hole.

Am I out of luck to replace my contrast sights with the HD's? Any ideas how to get the front sight to stay?

Any help would be appreciated!

Not sure I understand the setup. But can't you just drill another hole where it needs to be?

If you fit the front sight correctly no need for a roll pin or loctite.

The issue I have though is that without making any modifications to the new front sight or the frame, the sight slides on/off by hand. I'm thinking of using the red Loctite.

Peen the dovetail, either the slide or the sight, to tighten up the fit.
