    It says it replaces old style PRE- 2001 buffer..

      The new style will work. You can find them usually in stock at Midwest Gun Works. The only difference is the old has a teat that fits into the frame, but the new style works fine without it.

      The downside is they really stick it to you price-wise. You can call Browning directly and see if they have any in stock, they are iffy on them at times.

      Here is a pic of the new and old side by side, I have both.

        Yeah they are super expensive for what they are. They are around 18 shipped for one..even from browning.

        Anybody have extras? Ha
