Yup cut around trunnions and trigger guard, let the buyer deal with the rivets.

Destroy the rest of receiver to atf specs

What kind of kit? Original barrel? Headspace and matching parts are a factor

Be careful not to cut the scope rail if it has one.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Well I was going to say if you brought me 250 rounds of that golden tiger ammo I’d do it. But now you want it demiled. You need to cough up $150 or a full spam can of ammo. Demilling is time consuming.

The only demilling that really has to be done is the rear triggerguard rivet to free the triggerguard from the reciever when you cut through the reciever between the fire control pins and then another cut through the receiver at the magwell.
If you are not able to do the demill yourself, you might be spending $80 to $120+ in shop time to get a full demill job done.
Do you really think you will recoup that money?

It takes me about an hour with a dremel and a drill to de mill an AK, and save the receiver. Takes a couple of cut off wheels and sharp drill bits too. Like has been mentioned, those rear trunnion rivets can be stubborn if they were put in at the original factory..

just use a regular hack saw and cut up the receiver and salvaged the parts

stamped receivers in a vise are very easy to cut in half

Cut the receiver on both sides of the trigger guard. Using a cutting wheel is easiest, but even a hacksaw only takes a few minutes. Let the buyer do the rest of the de milling. As AR15 says, you’ll never recoup your money paying someone else to do it.
