    I hate tramming my mill head.

              I was actually thinking of adding something to my mini mill to use screws to push against a couple of removable plates to fine adjust the column since mine is a tilting column.

              Right now it is a chore.

                looks a little too rough in my opinion

                I prefer the old school front serrations as used on the Colt National Match Gold Cup

                          How about that same fish scale cut but using a ball end mill. And, a lot shallower of a cut so as not to make a cheese grater.
