You have to polish up til about 2000 grit sand paper wet.

I work polymer like working wood; by hand using rasps (Nicholson # 50), double-cut files, scrapers (knife blade or razor blade) and sundry types of grit cloth (120 - worn 400)

(Shhhhhhh! the secret >) Finish by oiling the abraded area with Boesheld T9 - it dries to a waxy finish that doesn't stay oily or greasy feeling and darkens the area back to it's inherent color.

Sometimes a little heat will bring the color and shine back to plastics.

OP, did you end up doing the undercut? I may do it this evening using my dremel, sanding wheels, and polish to finish.

Here is how his frame undercut came out:

                Not too shabby.
I like a little more thickness and a little less taper, basically just a bit of relief on the thicker area.

The undercut that I do is perpendicular to the front plane of the grip.
That lets your middle finger slide perfectly into and out of the grip without being caught on the triggerguard.

I can leave the triggerguard at whatever thickness the customer wants, but I always keep the 90 degree angle to the grip as that's the important part to make it faster to unholster.

People doing glock undercuts like this really don't understand what the undercut is for:

                    Very nice.

I spent about 20 minutes doing mine tonight. I used my dremel with 60 grit sanding barrel just enough for my finger to not get that bite, not too aggressive leaving most of it to still help me lock in my shooting grip. I also did the cut for my index finger for a bit more purchase. I'll user finer grit when I have time to clean it up if I so desire but for me it's just getting rid of the annoying bite on my middle finger so pretty happy with it.

I am very happy with the undercut done by ar15barrels. It’s very clean and the finish looks like it hasn’t been touched unlike the home sand paper/dremel jobs.
