I did my telescoping stock to fixed stock mod with 5 cents worth of PVC pipe. No drilling required and easily reversible if I move out of state.
If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth. - Ronald Reagan -
I use a 10 cent roll pin.
Drill a hole across the stock and buffer tube on the bottom area where the adjustment pin holes are at.
I only drill through one side of the stock but all the way through the aluminum so that the pin is installed blind.
If you want to remove it, you drill a little access hole on the other side to push the pin back out.Randall Rausch

I like my kak pistol brace because it is solid and has no play or movement and I replaced the Allen Head screw with a knurled screw for quick adjustment . You could do the same here with several t nuts , it would be semi quickly adjustable but solid and quiet.
