P365 sight replacement with a Sight PRO

P365 sight replacement using a MGW Armory Sight PRO and a modified #105 shoe.

This is a process that worked for me and I assume no liability if you are unable to repair or if lose parts.

    ****Safety First****

    Ensure your weapon is UNLOADED

Field strip per the directions found in the P365 manual.

Grab the slide and place it with the sights facing the work surface.

On the left side find the rear plate detent. Using a small flat blades screwdriver push toward the front sight as use use your thumb with your other hand to push the rear plate away from the rear sight.

Push down on the fire pin detent found along the left side of the slide and remove the striker assembly

Gather up your sight pro sight pusher and new sights

I had to modify a sight pro shoe #105. The width was narrowed from .7400” to . 7300” and a channel was milled in the middle to a depth of .1300

    Press your old sights out.

    Press In your new sights.

    Same for the rear sight

    Reassembly

Start with the striker assembly detent. There is a machined ledge that the small spring rests on.

Push in on the detent as you replace the striker assembly

Use your index finger to push in on the striker assembly as you place the rear plate into position

When it’s set into the channels push it toward the rear sight until you hear a click.

Re-assemble the slide to the frame and function test
