870 barrel of eBay

Hey guys, I bought an used 870 barrel 18" imp cly barrel. The date code is KE. I cant tell what year it was made there are 3 "E" dates in the barrel dating codes. Is there anything I should be looking for when installing a different barrel?

Since Remington started making 870's in 1951, I think, then your barrel would have been made in either 1984 or 2007, assuming my research is correct.

I've got two Wingmasters and changing a barrel is as simple as can be. I have never even held an 870 Express, but from what I can learn on-line, the fit should be the same, the barrel differences are in the finishes.

Since you already own it, remove the barrel off your shotgun and do the reverse with the new one.
