    Anyone have a clue what media would match the ED Brown satin finish??????

    Match the finish?? Good luck..

    Media alone will not make a finish match. it's pressure and nozzle size as well.

    Best bet is to get something close and reblasting everything assuming it's stainless.

        ill have too look at the media type but we use 60psi at work that leaves a nice satin pre finish on 303 SS

          Also distance from the work you are with the nozzle. 120 glass bead leaves a nice finish.

            I recently acquired a pistol that had some holster wear and a scratch on the slide, the person had attempted to remove the scratch with a scotchbrite pad much the way you would for a brushed stainless finish. I have bead blasted before but, mostly to completely refinish the pistol. So, color was...

              On springfield they use 100 girt then acid etching fluid.
