Help; No.1 MKIII problems

hey there guys, i bough a cheap SMLE but it has a problem. It wont cock the firing pin. When you pull the bolt back, then ride it forward it will not cock it, I dissasembled it and functioned test it and the problem is that one of the sears does not lock onto the bottom of the bolt , so it does not cock the firing pin. What would cause this ? is the sear ( V looking thing) suppose to move ? Can anybody here dissasemble the lee enfield and take a picture while functino testing the bolt to see how the internals work or if anything is off spec with mine ? thanks a bunch!

I have to push that lever up with my finger inorder for the bolt to cock the firing pin

It looks like the trigger assembly is put together bass-ackwards.

Let me take a look at one of mine tonight, and I'll post some pictures of it to help you out.

Actually it looks like it's put together in the right order. Check to make sure that the leaf spring between the sear and mag release lever is properly installed. It has little tabs on either end that fit into notches in both the sear and mag release. This spring should provide enough tension so that the sear gets pushed fully upward to engage the sear surface of the cocking piece on the bolt. It sounds like either the spring isn't seated correctly, or that there might be some battle cheese or mung (Technical term ) built up between the sear and the underside of the receiver, limiting it's range of motion.
