Wow! That's really nice work. I do amateur CNC on a little Sherline mill (mostly building working model steam engines), and It would be fun to apply it to a 1911. My 1911 isn't built yet, but I'll keep your work in mind.

It would also be interesting to mill the grips. I'd first thought of that as a good project.
