Anyone know what is the best way to pin an East German AK74 side folding stock without drilling or welding? The stock folding mechanism looks similar to a Maadi crutch folder but I can't seem to fit pennies under the wire part. Any help would be appreciated.

Put a spacer inside the spring that limits the spring travel enough that it will not unlock.Randall Rausch
