Hello, I recently got a Winchester 1300 defender. I'd like to use it for trap since I found a cheap barrel for it. The problem is it's for the 5 shell capacity and the extended magazine on the defender has the magazine cap to move forward about 4 or so inches. I read online that Brownells sold a cap adapter for barrel interchangeability but that item is discontinued. Is there another way I can solve this barrel to stay on the defender?

I'm not familiar with this issue however i did find a bit of information
i found a post where someone describes making a spacer that might help:
i wonder if this adapter might work for you? https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page...rod/U123122220 -
That part looks like the one I need. I emailed midwestgunworks for part compatibility since it did not explicitly list the Winchester 1300 defender model. Only police/marine. I know there is a difference between the magazine tubes 7 shot vs. the 8 shot on the defender model. I hope the response from midwest is favorable. Thanks for the link!
