    twisted spring

While cleaning some old magazines, I noticed that some of the springs are twisted. They all work ok, but I was wondering if it would be worth while or advantages for longevity to try to bend them straight.
They are for a Star mod SS, 380, mini 1911. Single stack, 9 rd.

If they work now don't screw with them. Start looking for new Springs.

They probably look straight in the magazine.
      It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.

            Contact Wolff Gun Springs.
            Bending them will weaken them.

Buy backups from Wolff and let the originals run to failure. Modifying springs not recommended.
