bullet button to long?
Just got the Bullet Button the other day and reading the instructions in step 6 it says the BB should stick out an 1/8'' past the stock one.Question is are any of yous guys cutting yours or not????

DO NOT SHORTEN THE BULLET BUTTON!
There was once a shorter version and certain people with small fingers could use a finger to detach a magazine - thus defeating the purpose.

If you do, also cut the magazine catch shaft appropriately. The AR Raddlock is the perfect height though, so just upgrade.sigpic

Mine was not in all the way but worked. Somebody wacked it will a mallet and now it is the correct length.John

I dont know if it's a frequent issue, but I suggest you drop some locktite on the threads towards the bottom. When used with the "BB wrench" I noticed the nut walked it's way down deep inside the BB out of reach of the wrench and too low to manipulate the BB at all. I had to open it up and top load for the remainder of my session, and that sucked arse. When I got home I was able to crank the BB wrench down with vise grips and get traction in the BB nut and back it out. I hit it with plenty of locktite and now I know not to work the nut past the sticking point.
